A big happy birthday goes out to Ali Larter, who celebrates her 32nd birthday today. Yep, hard to believe, but Alie was born February 28, 1976 in the great town of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. And I never really figured her for a Jersey girl!

So how did it all start for this now famous celebrity? well, Ali began her career as a model at typically-awkward age 13, but we all know her best known for her work as Niki Sanders on the hite TV show “Heroes.” She’s also done some work on other television shows, Just Shoot Me and Dawson’s Creek. Oh, but it doesn’t stop there — if you’ve paid attention to your movies or if you’ve just happened to follow her career.

Ali was also in some other big-screen movies, including Legally Blonde, Varsity Blues, Final Destination, and Resident Evil Extinction.

In addition, Ali has served as spokesperson for the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty and is currently promoting Godiva Chocolates. She recently announced her engagement to actor Hayes MacArthur. Ali met Hayes when they both appeared in a National Lampoon movie.

Alyssa Milano may have been the sweet little girl on “Who’s the Boss?” but now she’s the attractive woman on the cover of “Jezebel.” The magazine has a relatively small circulation since it primarily covers luxory living in Atlanta, so it was just kind of dumb luck to have come across these photos of Alyssa. 

There is some good news in the life of Ali Larter! The talented actress has been honored with a 2008 Gracie Allen Award by the American Women in Radio & Television. The organization hands out awards to honor achievement in programming by, for and about women. And being the Hero that she is, Ali is an obvious choice!

Other honorees included Miley Cyrus, Holly Hunter Maya Angelou, and Kathy Griffin. ALl national winners will be honored at the Gracies Gala that is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in New York. Oh, and you can get a complete list of winners at awrt.org.

Avril Lavigne hits the pool in this baby blue bikini and looks both good and relaxed doing so. I know putting on a swimsuit can be a big deal each summer since personal body-image really does impact our own pyschology — and ultimately the fun we have while out and about.

But Avril doesn’t seem to care, but she’s in good shape. And on that note, it’s time for me to put on my swimsuit and find out where the problem areas may be. Of course, I know what comes after that — the gym!!!

What’s that? Ashlee Simpson is so on your brain? Well, that’s because Ashlee is out promoting her latest album, “Outta My Head.” For a long time, Jessica Simpson was the bread-winner of the family, but it looks like the tide may be turning.

Although I enjoy Ashlee’s music, I think I actually prefer Jessica’s voice! What do you say?

Jennifer Aniston looks great in these photos! The actress doesn’t do nearly as many photoshoots as in the past, but part of that is because she’s such a big star — having made the transition from television to big screen movies.

When you’re in demand, you just don’t have time for those little magazine covers. As if I actually knew!

Ali Larter made the star-heavy guest list for the Benefit for Raising Malawi & UNICEF event hosted by Madonna and sponsored by Gucci. OK, that sounds pretty posh!

Not only was Ali there, but Gwyneth Paltrow, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, a very pregnant Jennifer Lopez, Mark Anthony, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Gwen Stefani, Drew Barrymore, Brooke Shields, Salma Hayek, Debra Messing, and Jerry Seinfeld were also on hand — and it was hosted by Chris Rock. And that’s the shortlist for the over 650 guests who attended the event. Now that’s what I call a par-tay!

A whopping $5+ million was raised through the sale of tickets of the fundraiser, in addition to auction items.
