Here are some older photos of Ali Larter that I missed, but think they are worth a looksy! Ali was signed on as the new face of Belgian chocolate maker, Godiva. These photos are from when Ali promoted Godiva’s Valentine’s Day contest — which ended up giving away a chocolate room — which is featured around her in these photos. Everything, I repeat everything, in the room from artwork to furniture to the logs in the fireplace is made completely of chocolate.

Ali terms her daily indulgence of awesome Godiva chocolate “pearls” the “perfect bit of sin.” Yeah, looking at all that chocolate is making me hungry! Now, why couldn’t I get a gig like that?

Actress Ali Larter has been included on the long list of celebrities who will be performing at the 10th anniversary V-Day celebration termed “V TO THE TENTH.” For those of you that are not familiar, V-Day was founded by Eve Ensler, writer of The Vagina Monologues. And it’s for a way good cause — it is a global movement which seeks to end violence against women and girls.

The V-Day’s 10th anniversary celebration will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana, on April 11-12 at the New Orleans Arena and Louisiana Superdome. And in my opinion, that city is a good place to start.

Ali joins a plethera of other female celebrities including Faith Hill, Jessica Alba, Oprah Winfrey, Salma Hayek, Jennifer Hudson, Jane Fonda, Rosario Dawson, Julia Stiles, Kerry Washington, Calpernia Addams.

In addition to Faith, musicians that will be on hand are Common, Eve, and Charmaine Neville for the V TO THE TENTH function.

A big happy birthday goes out to Ali Larter, who celebrates her 32nd birthday today. Yep, hard to believe, but Alie was born February 28, 1976 in the great town of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. And I never really figured her for a Jersey girl!

So how did it all start for this now famous celebrity? well, Ali began her career as a model at typically-awkward age 13, but we all know her best known for her work as Niki Sanders on the hite TV show “Heroes.” She’s also done some work on other television shows, Just Shoot Me and Dawson’s Creek. Oh, but it doesn’t stop there — if you’ve paid attention to your movies or if you’ve just happened to follow her career.

Ali was also in some other big-screen movies, including Legally Blonde, Varsity Blues, Final Destination, and Resident Evil Extinction.

In addition, Ali has served as spokesperson for the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty and is currently promoting Godiva Chocolates. She recently announced her engagement to actor Hayes MacArthur. Ali met Hayes when they both appeared in a National Lampoon movie.

There is some good news in the life of Ali Larter! The talented actress has been honored with a 2008 Gracie Allen Award by the American Women in Radio & Television. The organization hands out awards to honor achievement in programming by, for and about women. And being the Hero that she is, Ali is an obvious choice!

Other honorees included Miley Cyrus, Holly Hunter Maya Angelou, and Kathy Griffin. ALl national winners will be honored at the Gracies Gala that is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in New York. Oh, and you can get a complete list of winners at awrt.org.

Ali Larter made the star-heavy guest list for the Benefit for Raising Malawi & UNICEF event hosted by Madonna and sponsored by Gucci. OK, that sounds pretty posh!

Not only was Ali there, but Gwyneth Paltrow, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, a very pregnant Jennifer Lopez, Mark Anthony, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Gwen Stefani, Drew Barrymore, Brooke Shields, Salma Hayek, Debra Messing, and Jerry Seinfeld were also on hand — and it was hosted by Chris Rock. And that’s the shortlist for the over 650 guests who attended the event. Now that’s what I call a par-tay!

A whopping $5+ million was raised through the sale of tickets of the fundraiser, in addition to auction items.

Congratulations to Ali Larter — because the actress has confirmed her engagement to funny-man Hayes MacArthur. And the latest word from their reps is that no wedding date has been set yet.

For those not familiar with Hayes, he is a stand-up comedian and actor. If you happened to catch The Rock’s latest movie, “The Game Plan,” you may have seen some of his work there. In addition, Hayes has guest starred on a multitude of shows, most notably MAD TV and medium.

More recently, he was featured on “How I Met Your Mother” where he played a former hockey player. I since all the actors and actresses are on strike, Ali can go straight to work on planning the couple’s wedding!
