Other than being young, rich, and famous, what do Hilary Duff, Taylor Swift, and Lauren Conrad have in common? Okay, they are all cuties, too, but they are all on the cover of Us Weekly! I guess it was kind of obvious considering the title and the above photo, but I just had to ask! These pictures are behind the scenes candid photos from their recent photo shoot with Us. The reality star, actress, and singer all look great!

I wonder if there were any divas on the set of this shoot? Hmm?   

Singer and song writer Taylor Swift took time to celebrate Another Cinderella Story and that’s how these photos ended up here today! Apparently the movie comes out on Blu-ray this week and I can only assume that Taylor is a big fan. Otherwise, why would she be on location and giving the movie her support?

I think this nice white dress was a perfect choice for the event because Taylor Swift looks as cute as a bug! The only issue I have with these photos is that I think the performer could have put on a smile. It might have been a long day, but smile, Taylor, smile!

Musician Taylor Swift is teaming up with actress and singer Miley Cyrus for Disney’s “Hannah Montana: The Movie.” And this seems like a good move for the young, talented duo. Both are like-able young ladies (and shooting stars) that seem to represent themselves very well, except for a few racy photos. Taylor Swift said this regarding the movie: 

“I’m making a cameo,” says the 18-year-old, “so I’m so excited about that. I’m playing one of my own songs and just in the background of one of the scenes.”

“I’m just like the bar band, which is kinda fun. I’m just really excited about it because it’s really cool when some of my little fans will come up with a Hannah Montana shirt on, and I want to be like, ‘Guess what? I get to be in that movie with her!’ “

Taylor Swift officially won best New Female Vocalist last night at the Country Music Awards and she even performed the last 30-seconds of her song “Should Have Said No” in the rain! Taylor looked great and was also in fine voice as she sang “Our Song” and “Picture to Burn” at other times throughout the evening.

CMT says of Taylor’s performance: 

“It was interesting to see the attention to detail that has gone into her live presentation. In an era when nearly all backing musicians — and many male artists — hit the floor dressed in jeans while looking as though they just tumbled from their bunks on the tour bus, Swift’s musicians were attired in dark suits.

In fact, a couple of them looked like they’d just come from the hairstylist. This doesn’t make them better musicians, of course, but a youthful, sharply-dressed entourage is likely to have a special appeal among Swift’s core audience.”

Congratulations are in order for Taylor Swift!

Not surprisingly, Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler were big winners in the 2008 CMT Music Awards in Nasvhille on Monday night. Taylor won the biggest award of the night while Pickler took home three trophies. Congratulations to both of this up and coming girls!

Taylor Swift’s video for “Our Song” won both “Video of the Year” and “Female Video of the Year,” while Kellie Pickler won “Tearjerker Video of the Year” and “Breakthrough of the Year” for “I Wonder.” Kellie also won the “Performance of the Year” award for her live performance of that song on the Country Music Awards (CMA) broadcast on ABC.

Taylor Swift should not look so surprissed! Taylor released some big songs in 2007 and made her presence on the Country charts known. Here she is at the photo call before the 2008 Country Music Awards, where she won big! Taylor, we’re singing your song!

Taylor Swiftmay be a quasi-country-pop-star, but the girl can sing! Taylor recently made a visit to MTV’s TRL, did a little interview with the television music show, and put on a small live concert for those in attendance and those watching on TV. I’ve liked Taylor’s pure sound since she burst onto the music scene last year — and I think she is going to be one to watch from here on out.

In a world that has a fair number of people that can sing — and sing well –Taylor can do that AND write her own songs. That to me is going to keep Taylor Swift head and shoulders above the rest of the pack. So, what do you think? Is Taylor the real deal or just a flash in the pan? I think she’s real!
