Last week there were some very unflattering pictures floating around the internet that were very unflattering. The photos show the actress will cellulite-ridden legs and butt. However, just a few weeks prior she was looking just fine in a bikini. Well, as it turns out those embarrassing photos of Mischa Barton that made the rounds last week were enhanced to show actress’s body in what has been referred to as more “dimply” light. And that is also according to Mischa’s PR peep, Lisa Perkins. She said:

“Those photos are doctored. I’m not saying she’s perfect, nobody is. But they’ve given a 22-year-old woman the legs and bottom of an 80-year-old.”

Perkins also pointed to Mischa’s earlier bikini bod to back up her claim and the upset actress. “Look at the shots that were taken shortly before on a beach in L.A. Did she develop all that cellulite in a couple of weeks? There’s a lot you can do with Photoshopping.”

The photographer who took the allegedly less-than-flattering photos, commented on the situation. “I wouldn’t seek to publicly embarrass (Mischa) with nudity or health issues or body image issues,” he countered. “It is a shame that publications tend to highlight an issue that is not fair to a young girl. … However, sometimes these are the things that sell pictures.”

Jennifer Aniston takes it easy in her bikini while at poolside with a gal pal and relaxes in the California sun. Speaking of sun, I wish I was out there in my swimsuit soaking up some rays right now, too! The actress has been spending a lot of time enjoying the warming weather recently, and it seems the trend continues.

Well, Jennifer doesn’t necessarily need to work — so why not? Maybe one day we will all be famous… and terminally tan!  

Jennifer Aniston made a little time for some fun in the sun and chose this bikini with a blue top and brown bottom. Seriously, how it must totally suck to be a celebrity! It can be difficult for women to climb into a bikini, regardless of body type.

But then, what if around every tree someone wass waiting to take photos of you and sell them world-wide?

 Like, yikes!

It appears Josie Maran is having a ball in her bikini during this photoshoot at the beach. Josie has her surfboard in hand and even acts like she knows how to use it — although I don’t know that she does. However, I guess whether she can or can not surf is besides the point, since these are just promotional photos anyway. But I still wonder… 

But hey, girls just want to have fun, and that is exactly what Josie doe during this photo set.

Ashlee Simpson started enjoying the warm spring weather by breaking out this nice yellow swimsuit. Ashlee and her boyfriend enjoy the pool, and apparently each other, as they soak up some rays to the warm spring day!

I think they are getting serious — and I smell and engagement in the works!

Avril Lavigne hits the pool in this baby blue bikini and looks both good and relaxed doing so. I know putting on a swimsuit can be a big deal each summer since personal body-image really does impact our own pyschology — and ultimately the fun we have while out and about.

But Avril doesn’t seem to care, but she’s in good shape. And on that note, it’s time for me to put on my swimsuit and find out where the problem areas may be. Of course, I know what comes after that — the gym!!!

Avril Lavigne is best know for the punk rocker-chick that she is, but sometimes girls just want to have fun! From these poolside photos, you can tell that Avril coordinated the pink highlights in her hair with the color of her bikini top. That’s too cool.
