A rep for singer Ashlee Simpson just confirmed that she did marry rocker Pete Wentz in an intimate ceremony Saturday evening. The couple exchanged vows in front of over 150 guests at Ashlee’s parent’s home located in California. A person from Ash’s camp said:

“We’re delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends.”

Ashlee Simpson, 23, and Pete Wentz, 28, were actually married by her father, Joe Simpson. The singer wore an ivory lace gown by Monique Lhuillier, and took a hands on role in preparation for the wedding ceremony. And yes Jessica Simpson was at the ceremony and was the maid of honor.  Among the guests were Jessica’s boyfriend Tony Romo, Nicole Richie, and boyfriend Joel Madden.

Big sis Jess, who arrived with on-off beau Tony Romo before noon in the Employee of the Month star’s Range Rover, was maid of honor. According to reports, Pete’s bulldog Hemingway served as ring-bearer.”
