Hayden Panettiere may surprise her fans with her new hair color – but that’s because she’s gone brown for her role on “Heroes.” Yep, Hayden sports brown hair in these photos and it’s quite a change from the blonde locks she usually sports. So which has more fun, Hayden — blondes or brunettes?

In other Hayden Panettiere news, she was spotted snuggling up with her boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia inside the Shima sushi bar in Venice, California, over the weekend. The young celebrity couple strolled in hand-in-hand and with big smiles.

A diner tells at the restaurant said that Hayden kissed his hands and arms while they waited for their food. Sounds like somebody is in love!

Hayden Panettiere is a young, successful actress, but she’s not all about herself. Although we regularly see Hayden enjoying herself at Hollywood’s greatest award parties and movie premieres, she’s still finds time to be an activist for the Save the Whales campaign. And, it looks like you could be as well!

The “Heroes” actress is auctioning off a chance for you to join her on an ocean whale watching trip through eBay. The auction runs through the end of May and includes a luxurious dinner and drinks for six people at Eva Longoria’s restaurant in Hollywood on August 10, a half-day with Hayden Panettiere on a private whale watching tour off the coast of California, and a $1,000 American Express gift card. Now that could buy a lot of tuna!

Hayden Panettiere is telling it like it is — and she figures tabloid fame is definitely a losing game. In recent interview, the “Heroes” actress complained about the celebrity burden of a very imaginative press. Hayden continues to say:

“In Hollywood, there is no such thing as being a nice girl. Or being, you know, not messed up. If you’re not, they’ll make you that way. Nothing is private. And when they write about you, it’s almost completely false.”

Hayden stresses that not everything in the tabloids is true, but it make for great stories. When she was asked about all those photos and rumors about her and her co-star, Milo Ventimilgia, she didn’t exactly say a whole lot. So are the rumors true or false? All Hayden would say was, “I’ll not comment until the day I die!”

It seems Hayden Panettiere is totally crushing on someone — and it’s not a guy! The actress has admitted that she has a crush on a silver-screen actress who just happens to be married to Brad Pitt. Yep, Hayden has a crush on Angelina Jolie. 

Without a serious man in her life, skeptics are starting to question Haydens sexuality — and the actress has starting saying if she she has to be linked to someone, she wouldn’t mind Angelina. I guess that includes probably any woman around the world (if they had to be), lesbians, and most men (even the gay ones!). Here’s what Hayden told the press regarding her so-called “crush” on Angelina.

“It’s fine with me. If I’m going to be linked with someone, I could have an affair with Angelina Jolie. Although Jessica Alba and Charlize Theron would be OK too. Kate Bekinsale is also gorgeous. There are so many beautiful girls!”

And by the way, the 18-year-old Hayden is currently dating her “Heroes” co-star. You may have heard of him, Milo Ventimiglia.

Hayden Panettiere has spoken out for the first time on her romance with Milo Ventimiglia and their 12 year age difference. The 18-year-old Hayden says that she and Milo keep their relationship very private since they constantly face negative reactions to their age difference. And we know most of that negative energy is focused on Milo — because the guy is robbing the cradle!

Hayden told the press:

“It’s nice to be in the same industry. You often get invited to the same things, which is handy! (But) there is no good thing about being a couple in Hollywood. People make their own opinions about everything, and they like to be very judgmental about things they know nothing about. You just have to hope that if you don’t put it out there too much then they will have less to say about it.”

Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia, 30, met on the set of their hit TV show “Heroes” and I think these two are going to be an item for some time.

Hayden Panettiere was recently honored at the 2008 Genesis Awards by The Humane Society for her efforts to protect wildlife. The act that she was specifically awarded for: When she flew to Japan, paddled out on a surfboard, and kept fisherman from fishing is dolphin-rich waters without necessary gear to prevent dolphin bycatch.

Now, that’s giving 110 percent! Way to go Hayden!
