It looks like TV Guide is going for a healthier look with headings such as Killer Abs, Easy Diets, and Hot Bods.

This is a noble cause, but let’s think about who actually buys a TV Guide. I’m not a marketing expert, but if someone is purchasing a guide for their televison, something tells me they are going to be camped out in front of that son of a bitch with a half-gallon of double chocolate chunk ice cream and a mixing spoon. Oh well, Mario and Audrina make for an interesting cover.

Actor and now “dancer” Mario Lopez was recently named “Hottest Bachelor” by People magazine and has opened up about the perfect girl for him. Are you it? Mario recently called it quits with pro dancer Karina Smirnoff, who he started dating after he was paired with her on “Dancing With The Stars.” Here is what Mario Lopez had to this to say about what he’s looking for in a girl:

“I like a girl who’s from a modest sort of upbringing, because it’s more relatable. I’m a first generation American. My parents emigrated from Mexico and live in the same house I grew up in Chula Vista, California. I’d feel weird if the girl was a little too uppity or affluent, because I’m a very down-home kind of guy.”

Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff just split, but he was in New York today describing the perfect woman for him. And that’s simply bad taste, if you ask me. Mario, you just got out of a relationship, don’t be a jerk!

Mario Lopez told the press, “I’m a pretty low-maintenance kind of guy” as he was handling his dog — hot dog. Mario was on hand in Times Square for as part of Oscar Mayer’s 125th anniversary celebration to help raise money for charity. So yes, he was partially an OK person today.

Mario, who currently host MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” said of his perfect woman, girlfriend, wife:

“I’d like to be with someone who is secure with themselves. She has to understand that I have a lot going on and I’m busy I’d like someone who has their own thing going on – their own ‘passion,’ whatever it is. I like a girl that’s funny.”

It seems dancer Karina Smirnoff and actor Mario Lopez have called it quits in their relationship according to Smirnoff’s rep. In addition, her rep shared this:

“Karina has parted ways with her two year relationship with Mario Lopez. The relationship wasn’t heading in the right direction.”

Mario later issued the following statement through his rep: “Karina and I have the utmost respect for each other. She is a phenomenal and talented woman. I support her always and feel blessed to have her in my life.” The relationship coming to a grinding halt is of no surprise, in my opinion. The on-again, off-again couple had their share of problems. Last month they were spotted hamming it up in Miami, but now this.

The pair began dating back in 2006 when they were partnered together on the third season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” It was then that they did the “forbidden” dance!
