Miley Cyrus celebrated her Sweet 16 birthday over the weekend, which by the way is actually seven weeks too early, with a super party at Disneyland. I know, what a total diva! As a matter of fact, the theme park was shut down exclusively for the Miley’s party, which included thousands of fans, a few Hollywood stars, and her 20-year-old model boyfriend, Justin Gaston.

Model and talk show host Tyra Banks kicked off with the party and then American Idol contestant David Archuleta and Disney star Demi Lovato were spotted walking in on the purple carpet. Before Miley Cyrus performed, her father Billy Ray Cyrus, her sister Brandi, and Justin hit the stage to sing… get this… “Achy Breaky Heart.”

Miley hit the stage and said:

“This is the most amazing sweet 16 that a girl could have!”

Here is every teenagers favorite star right now, singing actress Miley Cyrusin concert! It seems like a lot of the world is waiting for Miley to tarnish her good girl image, but I’m not. I think this girl has the opportunity to be a good role model for lots of young women and young people, in general.

Sure, we’ve seen celebrities like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan got nuts after having successful careers at such a young age, but they really aren’t the first ones to have gone down that road. There have been many more Hollywood stars that found fame at a young age and never went crazy. I think Miley Cyrus is going to be part of that group, but I may eat my words!

Big things are in store for Miley Cyrus — as if you hadn’t guessed by this point. She’s hosting the Teen Choice Awards solo. This will be the first time Miley will host an awards show by herself and I think she can handle it. And just because she’s hosting the show doesn’t mean she’s not competing. Miley Cyrus managed to secure four nominations for Choice TV Actress: Comedy, Choice TV Comedy, Choice Music: Single and Choice Music: Female Artist.

In related nominations: The CW hit show “Gossip Girl” leads this year’s Teen Choice 2008 nominees with 14 nominations, including nominations for Best Drama, Best Actor, and Best Actress. Chris Brown has nine nominations. The Jonas Brothers grabbed five nominations, while 21-time winner Justin Timberlake has three nominations. Nope, it’s not singers such as Justin Timberlake, Madonna, or Bruce Springsteen — the undisputed hottest concert ticket of 2008 is for the 14-year singer and “Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus! Miley fans are so desperate for seats to her 54-date tour, which starts off later this month, that venues have literally SOLD OUT in as little as four minutes — and scalpers are getting four to five times the face value of those Miley Cyrus tickets!

And parents are submitting numerous complaints stemming from a lack of tickets and pure frustration. A representative from the company that’s handling the tour said:

“We knew it was hot, but we had no idea it was this crazy. It’s like the Beatles.”

Musician Taylor Swift is teaming up with actress and singer Miley Cyrus for Disney’s “Hannah Montana: The Movie.” And this seems like a good move for the young, talented duo. Both are like-able young ladies (and shooting stars) that seem to represent themselves very well, except for a few racy photos. Taylor Swift said this regarding the movie: 

“I’m making a cameo,” says the 18-year-old, “so I’m so excited about that. I’m playing one of my own songs and just in the background of one of the scenes.”

“I’m just like the bar band, which is kinda fun. I’m just really excited about it because it’s really cool when some of my little fans will come up with a Hannah Montana shirt on, and I want to be like, ‘Guess what? I get to be in that movie with her!’ “

Miley Cyrus has been a hot topic in the news lately. But for a change of pace, today we are simplying posting some Miley concert photos from her performance at Wango Tango over the weekend. Nope, she’s not “nude” in a magazine nor is she being additonally courted by “Playboy” for real nude photos. And, in my opinion, that is a very good thing. She’s 15-years-old and the most popular teen in the USA. Let’s let Miley be that.

Once again, Miley Cyrus raised controversy after revealing that her favorite televison show to watch is none other than “Sex and the City.” The “Hannah Montana” actress stated of her TV fav to “Vanity Fair” magazine:

“I love it! If you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters – that’s a thing we try to do on our show.”

Of course, the 15-year-old singer really watches the “sanitized” version of the show. A Miley insider admits that “the show she (Miley) watches is completely sanitized. She watches in on TBS.” Apparently Miley’s mother, Tish, does not allow HBO in the house. “They only have basic cable.”

And the plot thickens in the life of Miley Cyrus! Hugh Hefner, founder of the infamous “Playboy” magazine has extended an offer to Disney star Miley to appear in the pages of publication, but noted the 15-year-old would have to wait until she hit the legal age. Jeez, I would hope so! But the way it stands, this really is kind of a sick offer!!!

Oh, and Hugh Hefner is apparently a fan of Miley’s. The 82-year-old Hefner told “Extra,” “She would be welcomed in the magazine. Very pretty lady.” With Miley already the subject of backlash for pictures published by “Vanity Fair” — where she was snapped with just a sheet. And then there were the “racy photos” that appeared on the internet as well. Miley is under the gun, but she nor her father would ever choose to do such a thing.

Let’s consider this: Miley made over $17 million dollars last year — as a 15-year-old. Do you really think she is going to belittle herself and pose nude in Playboy? No offense to Hugh, but I don’t think so!
