Ashlee Simpson and “Fall Out Boy” bassist Pete Wentz were married Saturday night in what turned out to be a very unconvential wedding ceremony! Ashlee’s father, Joe Simpson, presided over the wedding ceremony which — get this – had an “Alice in Wonderland” theme! Jessica Simpson was on hand as the maid of honor.

The wedding ceremony took place in the backyard of Joe and Tina Simpson’s Encino home and was attended by approximately 150 guests. Celebrities on hand included Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, “Scrubs” actor Donald Faison and girlfriend Cacee Cobb, as well as everyone’s favorite boyfriend, Tony Romo.

Reports indicate Ashlee wore an ivory lace Monique Lhuillier dress and a diamond necklace with matching earrings, while Pete wore a Dior Homme tuxedo. The wedding pictures are already sold to “People” magazine, but no one knows how much they went for.

It seems Ashlee Simpson’s manager, who happens to be her father Joe Simpson, is attempting to sell upcoming photos of his daughter and her first child. It is being reported that the singer is pregnant with her and her fiancée Pete Wentz’s first child. Whether the speculation is true? Well, it has yet to be confirmed. 

And with regards to the baby pics, no one from the Simpson company has confirmed the rumors, even though I’ve several sources reported that Joe is already in talks with several magazines to sale the first photos of the un born Simpson-Wentz baby. An “insider” has told the press:

“Joe is contacting all the weeklies and asking them to pony up $1 million to put Ashlee on the cover. The deal would include photos of Ashlee – taken by Joe, of course, so he can make some more money – an interview and photos of the baby when she has it.”

According to sources that spoke directly with ”People” magazine, that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz plan to marry this May. The couple announced their engagement last week and that in itself was kind of a shocker.
